Aaron Fletcher joined Colorado as cornerbacks coach in January 2026 after spending two seasons as co-defensive coordinator and cornerbacks coach at Abilene Christian.
Fletcher brings extensive experience developing defensive backs across the college ranks. At Missouri in 2021, he helped the Tigers rank 29th nationally in passing defense while producing 11 interceptions. He also helped Kris Abrams-Draine transition from offense into an All-SEC cornerback and coached Akayleb Evans, who became an NFL Draft selection.
During six seasons at Tulsa, Fletcher helped build one of the nation’s strongest pass defenses. The Golden Hurricane ranked seventh nationally in passing yards allowed in 2018, and Reggie Robinson II later became the program’s highest NFL Draft pick in 15 years. Fletcher has also worked at Arizona State and Ole Miss and completed internships with the Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos.
A native of Austin in the Lone Star State, Fletcher was an all-conference player and defensive MVP at Texas A&M-Commerce before playing professionally. He and his wife, Tanzania, have three children.
