Adam Munsterteiger became the publisher of BuffStampede in 2003, with a simple conviction: CU athletics deserved to be covered with the same rigor, fairness, and craft as any other beat. Over 23 years he built something rare, a site with serious journalism at its core and a community that respected that standard.
We cover Colorado athletics because we believe it matters — not because we need them to win.

This is not a fan site. Some of our writers are CU alumni. Some aren't. All of them are here because they believe Colorado athletics is worth covering well — honestly, thoroughly, and without losing perspective when things get hard. We celebrate this program's history and its future, but we won't be blinded by it.
