Andre’ Hart joined Colorado as linebackers coach in December 2022 and transitioned to assistant linebackers coach ahead of the 2026 season.

Hart followed Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders to Boulder after three seasons at Jackson State, where he helped build one of the nation’s most dominant FCS defenses. The Tigers ranked first nationally in total defense, scoring defense, passing defense, sacks and third-down defense in 2022.

Under Hart’s guidance, Aubrey Miller Jr. earned consecutive first-team All-SWAC honors and was named the conference’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2022. Miller recorded more than 100 tackles in each of his final two seasons at Jackson State.

Hart previously spent four seasons at Trinity Christian in Texas, including two as head coach. The program compiled a 47-5 record and captured three consecutive TAPPS state championships during his tenure.

Hart began his collegiate playing career at Ranger Junior College before transferring to Kansas State in the Little Apple. At Colorado, he assists with linebacker development and defensive preparation.
