George Hegamin joined Colorado in 2024 as director of leadership and engagement before being elevated to offensive line coach ahead of the 2025 season.

Hegamin previously served as senior manager of player services for the NFL Players Association, providing career guidance, advocacy and professional development support to current and former players. He also coached offensive linemen at IMG Academy and worked with prospects at the Under Armour National Combine and Elite Football Camp.

A third-round selection by the Dallas Cowboys in the 1994 NFL Draft, Hegamin played seven professional seasons and appeared in 64 games with Dallas, Philadelphia and Tampa Bay. He was a member of the Cowboys’ Super Bowl XXX championship team and earned All-World honors with the Frankfurt Galaxy in 1996.

The Camden, New Jersey, native played collegiately at NC State, earning Freshman All-America and second-team All-ACC honors before entering the NFL Draft. His background in player development and professional mentorship shapes his approach with Colorado’s offensive line.
