Jeremy Cole joined Colorado’s strength and conditioning staff in 2026, bringing more than two decades of experience at the college and professional levels.
Cole previously served as head football strength and conditioning coach at Buffalo after four seasons as an assistant strength coach at Minnesota. Before that, he spent eight years at Rutgers, including four as the program’s head strength and conditioning coach. He directed the Scarlet Knights’ year-round football training, with the team setting 19 weight-room records during the 2015 offseason.
Earlier in his career, Cole worked with football programs at North Carolina and Kansas. He began his professional career with the Indianapolis Colts from 2005–06.
A former safety at the University of Findlay in the Buckeye State, Cole was a four-year letterwinner for the Oilers. His background overseeing complete developmental programs and preparing athletes at both the college and NFL levels adds extensive experience to Colorado’s performance staff.
