Tessa Grossman joined Colorado’s strength and conditioning staff in April 2025 after serving as director of sports performance for VCU women’s basketball.
Grossman previously worked at Middle Tennessee, where she was promoted to associate director of strength and conditioning and helped oversee training for football while directing the women’s basketball program. Her responsibilities also included developing internship curriculum and assisting with the department’s nutrition operations.
She has gained NFL experience through the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship, working with the Cincinnati Bengals, Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets. Grossman has also held sports performance roles with Illinois State, California, the Los Angeles Rams, Mamba Sports Academy and Dartmouth.
A former Dartmouth softball player, Grossman earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology from the Ivy League school before completing a master’s degree in sports psychology and biomechanics at Illinois State. The New England alumna is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and is also CPR and AED certified.
