Vonn Bell joined Colorado in February 2026 as a defensive analyst working with the safeties following a nine-year NFL career.

A second-round selection by the New Orleans Saints in the 2016 NFL Draft, Bell appeared in 139 games with 107 starts for New Orleans, Cincinnati and Carolina. He recorded 760 tackles, 16 forced fumbles, eight interceptions and 39 passes defended. Bell posted a career-high 114 tackles in 2020 and a career-best four interceptions in 2022.

Bell helped Cincinnati reach Super Bowl LVI following the 2021 season. His overtime interception of Patrick Mahomes in the AFC Championship Game helped secure the Bengals’ victory over Kansas City.

Before entering the NFL, Bell starred at Ohio State and helped the Buckeyes capture the 2014 College Football Playoff National Championship. He recorded 91 tackles and led the Big Ten with six interceptions that season.

Born in Chattanooga and raised just across the state line in Rossville, Georgia, Bell was a five-star prospect at Ridgeland High School.
