Andre Roye Jr. joined Colorado ahead of the 2025 season after spending three years at Maryland.
The District Heights native developed at St. Frances Academy, one of the country’s most prominent high school football programs, helping the Panthers earn the No. 1 ranking in Maryland under head coach Biff Poggi.
Roye’s athletic background extends well beyond the offensive line. At St. Frances, he also competed in basketball and lacrosse before focusing on football at the college level.
He appeared in 16 games at Maryland and developed into a starting left tackle before transferring to Boulder, where he has worked at both tackle spots.
Away from the field, Roye studied family sciences during his time at Maryland. His route from one of Maryland’s premier high school programs to his home-state university and eventually Colorado has given him experience in several different football environments while remaining rooted in the DMV area where his career began.
