Brady Kopetz joined Colorado in 2022 after a four-year varsity career at Lincoln High School in Portland, Oregon.
The Rose City product played on both sides of the ball in high school before developing into a tight end and special teams contributor in Boulder. His role steadily grew over his first several years at CU, with much of his impact coming through the less-visible work required on multiple special teams units.
That work did not go unnoticed. Before Colorado’s 2025 finale against Kansas State, Kopetz was selected as one of the team’s designated “Leaders,” earning the opportunity to wear an “L” on his jersey.
Away from the field, Kopetz has studied finance at Colorado. His path has been a steady developmental one, built less around recruiting headlines than persistence, special teams work and earning the respect of those around him.
