Bryce Hicks joined Colorado ahead of the 2026 season after spending two years at West Georgia.
Hicks appeared in four games as a true freshman in 2024, rushing for 94 yards on 14 carries and averaging 6.7 yards per attempt. He saw limited action the following season before transferring to Boulder.
The Peach State product was a prolific playmaker at Carrollton High School, finishing his prep career with 4,066 all-purpose yards and 40 rushing touchdowns. As a junior, Hicks rushed for 1,623 yards and 22 scores while helping Carrollton finish 14-1 and reach the Class 7A state championship game. He earned Region Player of the Year and MaxPreps Junior All-America honors before an injury limited his senior season to one game.
Hicks’ move to Colorado also reunited him with former Carrollton teammate Julian Lewis. Away from football, he was one of two Carrollton seniors selected for the Coach Charlie Grisham Memorial Scholarship in 2024.
