Damian Henderson II joined Colorado ahead of the 2026 season after playing at Colorado State and Sacramento State.
Henderson produced his best collegiate season at Sacramento State in 2025, rushing for 565 yards and five touchdowns on 91 carries while adding seven receptions. His 85-yard touchdown against Central Arkansas was the second-longest rushing score of Sacramento State’s Division I era. The move to Boulder reunited him with offensive coordinator Brennan Marion, who coached Henderson with the Hornets.
Henderson began his college career at Colorado State, appearing in games during the 2023 and 2024 seasons. Before college, he rushed for 1,744 yards and 23 touchdowns as a senior at Los Alamitos and earned first-team All-Southern Section Division I honors.
The Southern California product was a multi-sport athlete who also competed in basketball and track and field. Away from football, Henderson has studied communications, adding another dimension to a college journey that has taken him through three programs.
