Danny Scudero joined Colorado ahead of the 2026 season after producing one of the nation’s most prolific receiving seasons at San Jose State.
Scudero caught 88 passes for 1,297 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2025, leading the FBS in regular-season receiving yards and yards per game. He earned second-team All-America honors from multiple organizations and first-team All-Mountain West recognition. He previously earned FCS Freshman All-America honors at Sacramento State.
The San Jose product was a two-time high school captain, played four seasons of baseball and earned honor-roll recognition at Archbishop Mitty. His sister Meghan also competed collegiately in soccer.
Scudero has quickly earned a reputation for the habits behind his production. Deion Sanders publicly called him a “role model” for Colorado’s receiver room, while Scudero has emphasized accountability, teammates pushing one another and keeping football fun.
