Elliot Arnold joined Colorado in 2025 after a championship-winning career at McCallie School in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Arnold specialized in kickoffs and placekicking during three varsity football seasons, steadily improving as his role grew and helping McCallie capture a Tennessee Division II Class AAA state championship during his senior year. He redshirted after arriving in Boulder.
The Scenic City product came to football with another sport already in his athletic background: Arnold also played varsity soccer at McCallie. That crossover feels particularly natural for a specialist whose job depends on timing, repeatable mechanics and control with his feet.
Arnold’s path has been relatively straightforward compared with some of Colorado’s well-traveled specialists, moving from one of Tennessee’s established prep programs directly to Boulder and continuing to develop within CU’s kicking competition.
