Jayven Richardson joined Colorado in 2026 after a college path through Hutchinson Community College and Missouri.
The Louisiana native began at the junior college level before earning his opportunity in the SEC. At Missouri, Richardson developed into a valuable sixth offensive lineman with the versatility to play either tackle position and eventually earned his first collegiate starts.
His journey also reflects progress away from football. Richardson earned an associate’s degree in general studies from Hutchinson before continuing his education at Missouri.
The Gonzales product played his high school football at East Ascension before heading to Kansas for junior college, then Missouri and eventually Boulder. Public sources offer relatively little about Richardson’s off-field personality, so rather than manufacture one, his profile can stand on what is already an interesting climb through multiple levels of college football.
