Josiah Manu joined Colorado in 2026 after a four-year varsity career at Thompson Valley High School in Loveland.
Manu starred on both sides of the line for the Eagles and helped Thompson Valley complete an undefeated state championship season. His prep career earned him recognition as both an offensive lineman and defensive tackle before he remained close to home to continue his career in Boulder.
Football runs throughout Manu’s extended family. His cousins include players with major college and professional football experience, while another cousin performed as part of the multi-platinum group Fifth Harmony.
But Manu has his own creative side as well. Away from football, he enjoys both drawing and writing.
The Northern Colorado product brings an interesting combination to the Buffs: a state champion who grew up surrounded by high-level athletic talent but also enjoys creative pursuits far removed from life in the trenches.
