Julian Lewis joined Colorado as one of the nation’s highest-rated quarterbacks in the 2025 recruiting class and made two starts as a true freshman.
Lewis completed 52 of 94 passes for 589 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions in four appearances in 2025. In his first collegiate start at West Virginia, he threw for 299 yards and two touchdowns, the second-most passing yards by a true freshman in his first start in Colorado history. He was named PFF Big 12 Quarterback of the Week for the performance.
A five-star prospect by ESPN and Rivals, Lewis was a three-year starter at Carrollton High School and finished 39-4. He threw for 11,010 career yards and 144 touchdowns after reclassifying from the 2026 class.
The Peach State passer became just the second player to win Georgia’s Gatorade Football Player of the Year award twice and earned MaxPreps national freshman and sophomore honors during his prep career.
