Quentin Gibson returns for his second season at Colorado after emerging as one of the Big 12’s most productive kickoff returners as a true freshman.
Gibson played in all 12 games with two starts in 2025, becoming just the fourth true freshman in program history to start a season opener. He caught 15 passes for 71 yards while adding 597 yards on 25 kickoff returns. His 23.9-yard return average and 597 return yards both ranked second in the Big 12.
A four-star prospect by ESPN, Gibson arrived in Boulder after a remarkable senior season at North Crowley High School. He was named MaxPreps National Player of the Year after producing 2,009 receiving yards and 36 touchdowns while helping the Panthers finish 16-0 and win the Texas 6A state championship.
The Cowtown product earned championship-game Offensive MVP honors after catching seven passes for 181 yards and three touchdowns.
