Sedrick Smith joined Colorado in 2026 after a college journey through South Carolina State, Alabama A&M and Maryland.
The Atlanta native developed at South Atlanta High School before beginning his career at South Carolina State. He later became a regular contributor at Alabama A&M and continued that progression at Maryland before making the move to Boulder.
Smith’s interests away from football are refreshingly low-key. He enjoys reading, exploring and playing video games, particularly Xbox. His preferred snacks are hot wings and Ruffles, giving fans perhaps the most important information needed for any future game-night menu.
Smith also studied sociology during his time at Maryland.
The ATL product has steadily worked his way through multiple levels and conferences of college football, building his career through adaptation and experience rather than following a straight-line path.
