Tagert Bardin joined Colorado in 2023 after playing his high school football in his hometown of Durango.
Bardin redshirted during his first season and continued developing without seeing game action in 2024. He made his collegiate debut against Delaware in 2025 and appeared in five games, contributing primarily on kickoff and kickoff-return units while also taking his first offensive snap.
At Durango High School, Bardin caught 27 passes for 458 yards and nine touchdowns over his final two seasons, including a team-high seven receiving scores as a senior.
For the Centennial State product, playing at Colorado carried a personal significance long before he arrived in Boulder. Bardin wrote in his high school recruiting profile that his father played football at CU and that following in his footsteps had been a dream of his. His path from Durango to Boulder ultimately gave him the opportunity to do exactly that.
