Taj White joined Colorado in 2026 after four seasons at Rutgers, bringing extensive Big Ten experience and the versatility to play both tackle and guard.
The Jersey City product developed at Hudson Catholic, earning first-team All-State recognition before staying home to play for Rutgers. He eventually became a multi-year starter for the Scarlet Knights and earned Academic All-Big Ten honors three times, pairing consistency on the offensive line with an equally steady academic record.
White studied Labor Studies and Employment Relations at Rutgers, an academic path he maintained alongside his growing role in one of college football’s most demanding conferences.
The Garden State native’s route to Boulder is less about a dramatic reinvention than accumulated experience: four years in one Power Four program, success in the classroom and the ability to line up at multiple spots before bringing that background west to Colorado.
