Titus Bautista joined Colorado in 2024 after playing two varsity seasons at DePaul College Prep in his hometown of Chicago.
Bautista earned all-conference recognition following his senior season before making the move from the Windy City to Boulder. He also competed in track and field during high school, adding another athletic background to his development at running back. After redshirting at CU, Bautista made his collegiate debut in 2025 and saw time on both special teams and offense.
His prep background also shows a strong academic side. Bautista’s recruiting profile listed him in honors courses in physics, math and Spanish, along with AP coursework in English and history.
The Chicago native’s path has been relatively low-profile compared with many of Colorado’s heavily recruited newcomers, but it has taken him from an all-conference high school career to an opportunity to continue developing at the Power Four level.
