After receiving an offer from Colorado in late June, 2027 Seven Lakes High School (Katy, Texas) small forward Isaiah Santos shared pictures of his official visit (July 19) with the Buffaloes on social media.
Ranked a four-star across major recruiting sites, the Black-and-Gold were the second of Santos’ six official visits this summer, having seen Butler on June 29. The 6-foot-5, 200-pounder is set to see Minnesota and Texas Tech in late July, and is working to find dates to see Houston and Vanderbilt.
Having announced 17 offers, dating back to May of 2024, Santos has been a known name for quite some time. And he has shown his skill across all levels.
Playing in Texas’s 6A level, Santos has earned All-State honors the past two seasons. He averaged 22.6 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 3.0 steals per game on 55% shooting from the field as a junior. Then, starring with Seven Lakes in the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) 2027 Showcase this summer, he earned his offer from CU.
Away from school ball, Santos has shown out both on the Nike EYBL circuit and at FIBA international events.
Playing with JL3 Elite last summer and Anthony Black’s AB Elite this summer, Santos wrapped up his AAU career with a successful Peach Jam.
Internationally, he has represented Brazil in 2023, 2025 and 2026. Santos helped Brazil win the 2025 FIBA U17 South American Championship, averaging a near 15-point double-double. Most recently, Santos and Brazil won the bronze medal at the 2026 FIBA U18 AmeriCup, averaging 14.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game as he was named to the tournament’s second team.
Highlighted by his advanced frame and athleticism, high motor and ability to score, rebound and defend the basketball, Santos is an optimal target for Big 12 and other Power Conference programs.
While Santos is not the first 2027 recruit that CU has been linked to, he is the first to have made an official visit. In-state 2027 guard Christian Williams (Parker, Colo.), among others, unofficially visited CU last football season, and recently shared photos of himself following a workout with the Buffs’ newly anointed President of Basketball Strategy, Derrick White.
