On Staff Since
December 2022
Rashad Davis joined Colorado’s staff in December 2022 and was named inside receivers coach prior to the 2026 season.
Davis has worked closely with the Buffaloes’ wide receivers throughout his time in Boulder, first under Brett Bartolone and later alongside Jason Phillips. His responsibilities have included offensive analysis, opponent preparation, recruiting and the development of Colorado’s receivers. He also assists with the Buffaloes’ punt and kickoff returners.
Davis emphasizes versatility within the position group, preparing receivers to line up both outside and in the slot. He has also taken an active role in helping players learn Colorado’s offensive system through film study, position meetings and individual development.
Before coming to Boulder, Davis played defensive back at Jackson State and later joined Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders’ staff with the Tigers. His familiarity with Sanders’ program standards and energetic coaching style has helped him serve as a bridge between the staff and players throughout the Coach Prime era.
