On Staff Since
December 2022
Rashad Davis joined Colorado’s staff in December 2022 and was promoted to wide receivers coach at the start of fall camp in 2026 after previously serving as inside receivers coach.
Davis has worked closely with the Buffaloes’ receivers throughout his time in Boulder, first under Brett Bartolone and later alongside Jason Phillips. His responsibilities have included offensive analysis, opponent preparation, recruiting and player development, along with work with Colorado’s punt and kickoff returners.
A charismatic coach who has built strong relationships with both players and recruits, Davis emphasizes versatility within the receiver room and prepares players to line up both outside and in the slot. He has also become an important part of Colorado’s recruiting efforts.
Before coming to Boulder, Davis played defensive back at Jackson State and later joined Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders’ staff with the Tigers. His familiarity with Sanders’ standards and coaching philosophy has helped Davis serve as a bridge between the staff and players throughout the Coach Prime era.
