Braedon Brenner joined Colorado in 2026 after playing his high school football in Mesa, Arizona.
Brenner spent part of his prep career at Red Mountain before finishing at Desert Ridge, where he played both wide receiver and free safety. His versatility extended beyond catching passes; scouting evaluations praised his route running and ability to create separation while also noting his willingness to block and contribute physically without the ball.
The Valley of the Sun product was initially recruited as a receiver and drew interest from programs including Sacramento State and UNLV before ultimately landing in Boulder.
