Cody Jordan joined Colorado in 2026 after playing his high school football at The Woodlands in Texas.
Jordan developed as a versatile running back for the Highlanders and chose Colorado after also drawing scholarship opportunities from Maryland, Toledo and Arkansas State. His commitment added another Texas playmaker to an offense being reshaped under Brennan Marion.
The Lone Star State product brings a multi-sport background to Boulder. Jordan also played varsity basketball at The Woodlands, competing as a guard in addition to his work in the backfield.
His recruitment was quieter than many of the highly ranked prospects on Colorado’s roster, making his path more of a developmental story than a headline-driven one. Jordan earned his Power Four opportunity through his production and versatility at one of Texas’ larger high school programs and now gets the chance to develop those traits in Boulder.
