Myles Weston joined Colorado in 2026 after spending four years at Mercer, where he gained experience throughout the Bears’ secondary and competed in the FCS playoffs.
Weston’s versatility dates back to Venice High School in Florida, where he was a two-way contributor at defensive back and wide receiver and also handled kickoff returns. That athletic background carried into college, where he developed primarily at cornerback. One of his biggest early moments came during Mercer’s 2023 playoff victory over Gardner-Webb, when he intercepted two passes.
The Southwest Florida product grew up in Port Charlotte before playing his high school football at Venice. Weston is the son of Patrice and Rhondy Weston Sr. and has two sisters, Katelyn and Jocelynn.
His move to Boulder represents a jump from an established FCS program to the Big 12 after several years of college development and postseason experience.
